Hi all, is it not possible to someone in the group to contact another usenet group to find a way to block this dodgy spam generator?

No.

The only thing you can do is put the offender in your killfile IF
whatever you are useing to read USENET has that ability and you will no
longer see their posts.

No.
The only thing you can do is put the offender in your killfile IF
whatever you are useing to read USENET has that ability and you will no
longer see their posts.
Which is why the Eternal September marked the death of useful,
non-moderated Usenet groups.

As much as I hate groups.io and EEVBlog Forums, I'm over there for most
technical content these days. Sad, as I prefer not to bind content to
the delivery platform.
